The Little Art Collection is a small British baby boutique based in London and Wiltshire. We make beautiful, practical, and unique bamboo baby essentials for both mum and baby to enjoy.

British Baby Muslin Squares

We are proud Make It British members and make all of our Patterned Baby Muslins right here in the UK, in Yorkshire. This is very unusual – check the label on your other Muslin Squares and you’ll find them mostly made in China. Making our Muslins here helps us to reduce our carbon footprint, manage quality and also supports our economy.

Soft 100% Bamboo Muslins

Our collection of Muslin Squares have been made from 100% Bamboo Muslin. Often referred to as the ‘Cashmere of Cotton’, bamboo fabric is incredibly Soft. It has a silky, Luxury feel whilst still retaining all of the quality features that makes cotton so useful. 

Built To Last

If you own one of our Bamboo Muslins you’ll notice that the weave of our muslin is slightly tighter than others. This makes them easier to handle and less likely to catch. Not only are they built to last but they also machine wash well, making them great as hand-me-downs for those looking to build their family.

Naturally Hypoallergenic

Bamboo is naturally Hypoallergenic and gentle on sensitive skin. Perfect for little ones who are prone to allergies.

Organic Muslins

Whilst our Bamboo Muslin Squares are not certified organic they have been produced without the use of pesticides or insecticides. The bamboo we use is farmed in India at a GOTS certified factory which limits the use of toxic bleaches, dyes and other chemical inputs during the textile production process.

Muslin Squares That Really Work

Bamboo muslin is said to be 3-4 times more absorbent than cotton - this makes our Baby Muslins extremely effective at cleaning up spills and wiping little mouths.

Lots of Unique Designs To Choose From

You won’t find them anywhere else! Each of our Patterned Baby Muslins has been designed in collaboration with an aspiring British artist (you’ll find out more about each artist enclosed alongside your Muslin).

For this reason they are very popular as Natural Baby Gifts so we offer a gift box option against each of our designs.

If you are looking for something plain we also make smaller White Muslin Squares although these are not currently made in Britain.

Large Muslins

Our Baby Muslins are larger than most, at 70cm x 70cm they can also be used as Soft lightweight Baby Blankets when baby is newborn. We also make most of our designs in a larger 120cm x 120cm size – these Extra Large Muslins / Muslin Swaddle Blankets are incredibly useful and for more than just sleep.

Our British made, 100% Bamboo Muslins are more expensive than most. This is because we use Luxury fabric and British manufacturing. We're confident you'll enjoy them as much as we do so if for any reason you're not happy you can return your order for Free.
