We find our artists through direct approaches and by running competitions with British Art & Design schools. Details about each artist are enclosed alongside your orders, but there’s a little information here for you too….
Ele is an independent artist and mum of two working from her home studio in rural Somerset. She takes her inspiration from the natural world and describes herself as a "contradiction of aesthetic tastes" as she often juxtaposes her detailed drawings with geometric shapes and patterns. She runs her own Etsy shop selling stunning light boxes, contemporary collage pieces and watercolour drawings

Florence studies Graphic Design at the University of Edinburgh, she enjoys experimenting with mixed media and is currently developing her skills as an illustrator. She says she "enjoys simplifying things so that they are sleek but still detailed." She aspires "not just to make beautiful things but to convey messages through her work." She hopes to one day own her own studio.

Hannah is an artist and mum of two from Cheshire. She takes inspiration from her children and enjoys creating things that she thinks would appeal to them. She dreams of one day illustrating children's books, "I love the idea of my kids and grandchildren reading a book that I have illustrated...a kind of legacy."

Savannah Storm is a student at Edinburgh College of Art. She finds her inspiration in everyday objects and situations and loves to capture the world around her. She aspires to continue drawing and to see where this takes her... She has her own Etsy shop selling illustrated gifts, stationary, prints and homewares

Hannah is studying an MA in Illustration at Edinburgh College of Art. She grew up in the rural countryside and incorporates her love for the great outdoors into everything that she creates. Her work has a handcrafted feel through the use of line and texture. On finishing her MA she aspires to go freelance, illustrating books is her dream…
Sebastiano is a Product Design student at Glasgow Schools of Art. Born in Italy, Sebastiano studied painting at Venice College of Art before moving to Glasgow to continue his studies. He finds inspiration in music, nature and childrens books. He strives to be original with his work and hopes to one day become a professional illustrator.
Kat studied Textile Design at Glasgow School of Art and was drawn to textiles by its bright colours and varied textures. She has always loved painting and drawing and enjoys working with mixed media. She grew up in rural Cornwall and finds inspiration in the great outdoors. She spent five months studying in Tokyo, Japan and her love of Japanese design continues to have a huge influence on her work – you can view her portfolio here
Kat is the artist behind our Poppy print swaddle blankets and muslin squares
Kerri is an artist, designer, and recent graduate from The University of Chester Art & Design. She likes to focus on colour and pattern and tells us “exploring with different colour palettes and tones is something that I find fascinating, how you are able to adapt an image via the intensity of the colour.” You can view her portfolio here
Lucy graduated from the London Metropolitan University in 2010 with a Textile Print Design degree and since then has been developing her own style using different media including ink, watercolour, acrylic and pen. She hopes to one day own her own studio where she can surround herself with everything that inspires her. She runs her own Etsy shop selling botanical inspired prints and custom tattoo designs

Matilda studies Printed Textile and Surface Pattern Design at Leeds Arts University. She takes her inspiration from anything and everything, whether that be in sunny Suffolk where she grew up or in the city of Leeds where she now studies. She describes her style as “illustrative and playful” and aspires to grow her career in the design industry so that she can do what she loves, drawing and creating, as a job.
