Little Gulls Bamboo Swaddle Blankets

Our bamboo swaddle blankets are made from 100% bamboo and are a luxury alternative to traditional muslin blankets. Bamboo fabric has many benefits over cotton – it’s much softer on delicate skin, it’s better for the environment, and has inbuilt temperature regulating qualities making it easier to moderate baby’s temperature. We have called these baby blankets 'swaddles', but they’re incredibly versatile and can be used for almost anything. Our swaddle blankets are;

  • Beautifully soft – due to the naturally round and smooth fibres of the bamboo plant

  • Absorbent – for pulling moisture away from skin

  • Environmentally-friendly – bamboo grows quickly and is easily renewable. It has no natural pests and so doesn’t use nasty pesticides

  • Breathable – constructed with an open weave to help manage temperature

  • Temperature regulating – due to small micro-gaps in the bamboo fabric which trap cool air in the summer and warm air in the winter

  • Unique – all of our print patterns are designed in collaboration with aspiring British-based artists

  • Easy to care for – can be machine washed and ironed on low

  • Extra-large – at 120cm x 120cm

What can I use my bamboo swaddle blankets for?

Our bamboo swaddles can be used for swaddling, as organic baby blankets for layering, as large muslins for feeding, as breast feeding covers, for lining prams and cots (they are large enough to cover the entire cot mattress), as play mats and for tummy time, as changing mat liners or makeshift bibs and changing mats when out and about, to shelter baby from the sun and more. They are a true multi-purpose baby essential, and you will likely find that the way in which you use them changes over time.
